US lawmakers introduce a bill calling for sanction on 49 Hong Kong officials. Justice secretary Paul Lam, Police Commissioner Raymond Siu, Chief Justice Andrew Cheung, and other judges and prosecutors are on the list. Hong Kong Lawmaker Nixie Lam condemns those US politicians who want to expand the sanction list.
A sanction proposed by members of the U.S. Congress, towards judges, prosecutors and government officials is utterly disgusting, these tactics has been repetitively used to smear Hong Kong’s national security law, aims to interfere HK in all ways. It is not only hypocritical, but also doomed to fail. I call for everyone in HK to join hands condemn these behaviours and I call for those politicians to spend their energy back to fix their own economy and social problems in the United States.
